Volunteer Opportunities in Village Operations



Village teams handle all the day-to-day operation of the Village. Each Village Team has a list of tasks, large and small, that keep things moving. Listed below are the various VillageTeams with their main responsibilities.

Membership Team: (conducts information sessions, home visits, manages member renewals, and evaluates member satisfaction) 

Village Services Team: (schedules and monitors daily service requests from members)

Activities  and Events Team: (polls members for activity interests, plans educational, social, cultural and fitness activities, helps plan annual volunteer and member events)
 
Community/Business Outreach Team: (plans community outreach efforts, dispatches volunteers to outreach events, attends civic and local business events)
 
Fundraising Team: (develops and implements resource development plan, identifies funding sources, networks with local community organizations to identify potential donors and sponsors)
 
Communications/Technology Team: (updates and maintains website, database and Facebook page; sends email communications, produces monthly newsletter, trains volunteers and members on Club Express)

 

Marketing Team: (plans marketing efforts, creates and maintains marketing calendar, provides marketing content for website, print and email)
Volunteer Team: (identifies, recruits and trains volunteers; provides feedback and shows appreciation for volunteer efforts)
 
Office/Services Team: (coordinate mailings, performs administrative tasks, sends cards to donors, members and volunteers, maintains and updates vendor services lists)


Administration and Finance Team: (provides strategic planning, creates and maintains annual budget, tracks Village finances)
